14th International Guitar Festival. Hersbruck

Roland Dyens
It is very difficult to see together this amount of varied and talented musicians together, not only guitarists and not only classical, in an extraordinary Festival. Johannes Tonio Kreusch, the artist director of the Hersbruck International Guitar Festival, has had the ability to bring together a huge amount of guitar masters like Manuel Barrueco, Pepe Romero, Carlos Barbosa-Lima or Roland Dyens. But also we can find acoustic guitar players, like the amazing Peppino D’aggostino or Adam Rafferty; lutenists, like Eduardo Eguez; flamenco players, like Santiago Lara and many other players.
There are seminars, master classes, concerts and workshops about technique, improvisation, practice, mind and body, fingerstyle, jazz… The Festival takes place in Hersbruck, Germany, and this is the 14 edition.

This is a fantastic opportunity to see a lot of good and varied music from the best musicians, and learn not only technical questions but instead matters on practice, organization or health and body habits. And the good thing is that in the core of the project is a very interesting musician, with the knowledge, talent and love for the music that makes this project possible: Johannes Tonio Kreusch.
