Prepared guitar

You can get amazing tones and sounds from a traditional instrument by attaching various objects to it.
To do this we need to prepare the instrument so that we get the sounds we want to hear. This is known as a "prepared instrument," and in our case a "prepared guitar".

You can use paperclips, corks between strings, bottle caps between the soundboard and strings, metal cylinders, metal clips, cloth between the strings and bridge, , sticks of wood between the strings and the fingerboard, springs...

This may seem more like a secretary at his desk or a mechanic in her repair shop than a musical affair. And that’s somewhat accurate. (Continue...)
